Autumn Harvest, Part 1

One thing you may not know about me is that, in addition to this portrait photography business and my “real job” as a tutor, I am a full-time college student at OCC. Yes, I am a little bit crazy and no, I don’t sleep a lot. I am a photography major, which some people find amusing considering how long I’ve been a professional photographer. But my photo classes have helped me to refine my technique and have really made me explore who I am and who I want to be as an artist. It’s been quite an exciting time for me.

I thought I would share with you some of the work I’ve been doing in my photo classes. I am taking both a color photo class and a black & white class. Today’s post is from the first assignment in my color class. We had to create images that represented the theme of “Autumn Harvest.” Of course this immediately made me think of leaves and pumpkins and sunflowers, my favorite autumn things. Tomorrow I’ll post the second batch of photos from this assignment.
