She’s finally here! I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Madi’s little sister or brother (her parents decided to be surprised – I hate that!! LOL). And….it’s a girl!
And can I just tell you how much I love her name? Marlowe – it sounds so elegant, so old Hollywood glamour. A name I totally would have picked if I had ever had a daughter.
Marlowe wasn’t much for sleeping while I was there, but that’s okay. We had fun trying out her mom’s egg basket as a prop. And Madi is such a good big sister! Lots of kisses for her baby.

Look at this little cutie! Carmella is ten weeks old, and has already developed some strong opinions. She’s not a fan of props, and she’s a little stinker when it comes to looking up at the camera. I put the camera up to my face, her eyes look away. I put the camera down, and she looks back up at me. Yeah, you know who’s in charge in this family!!
Love this pic with Carmella and her daddy. Can I get a big “Awwwwwwww!”

Look at this little cutie! He was only six days new when I met him. I can tell you that he is not a fan of my teacup, or pretty much any other prop. He just wanted to be cuddled up with his mama. Sweet little lovebug!
Daniel, I hope you are sleeping well for you mom and dad, and I can’t wait to see you again in six months. I’m sure you will have grown a ton by then!

Oh, those squishy little newborns. I love them so much, and I am so honored when a family chooses me to take those first precious photos of their new little one. Thank you to all of the parents who have put their trust in me, and I look forward to seeing all of those sweet little bundles grow up over the coming years!

Oooooh! What a sweet, squishy little guy this was! And only two days old! I’ve never worked with a newborn that young before. I thought for sure he would sleep the whole time, but he wasn’t having it! We did get him conked out towards the end, but he made us work for it. And can I tell you how much I love his mom? Want to hear about someone who was serious about her newborn pictures? Apparently she was in active labor, and was talking about needing to call me to schedule the session. I love it!!!
Congrats on your handsome little bundle, you guys. Enjoy him!
