What a beautiful morning it turned out to be! It was a cool and crisp autumn day – perfect for apple picking! I met up with Darby and Connor at Beak & Skiff this morning, and we had a great time exploring the orchard, picking some apples, and – of course – eating some!

Who lets a little rain spoil their fun? Not us!
Mother Nature might not have been cooperative yesterday morning, with her wind and cold and rain, but we were not deterred! After a quick stop at Bullhead Point (we had to have Hannah and Jake in a tree, it’s tradition), we headed back to the house to get warm and dry. But we made one last trip outside, this time to have some fun in the rain with our umbrellas!

OMG could this child get any cuter? I had so much fun playing with her and her parents this weekend. And take a look at this first picture, of Olivia and her daddy. It was literally like the fourth frame I shot, and I instantly knew it was going to be my favorite. I was thinking, “OK, I can go now, I already have the best shot!”
And look at her being all posed for the camera! She wasn’t too fond of my peacock tutu, but we did manage to get some good pics.
And – miracle of miracles – it actually stopped raining long enough for us to go outside for a few minutes! Olivia likes to ride her tractor.
Olivia, thanks for playing with me! Hope I get to see you and your mom and dad again soon!

It was so nice to see Taylor again! She is my Baldwinsville Senior Rep, and we met up at Franklin Square last weekend for her senior pics. Has it really been a year? I have so enjoyed hanging out with Andrew and his family every few months, and I’ll miss seeing them so often! We had a great time last weekend. There was swinging, there was a little monkey jumping on the bed, and of course there was CAKE!
