A Bee’s-Eye View | Part 18: Contentment
Posted on April 25, 2010
I’ve been horrible about keeping up with these Bee’s-Eye View posts. Someday I will go back and upload the pics I’ve taken over the past few weeks. But I wanted to be sure to get this one done. It’s Otto, our new puppy, the picture of contentment.

I can’t believe the insanely beautiful weather we have had this week. The practical part of my brain realizes that there must be at least a little more snow still to come, but the rest of me has been loving this sunny, 70-80 degree weather and does not want it to end! And my garden is loving it, too. Things are budding all over the place.
Here is my dwarf magnolia (this first one is my official pic of the week)…

And my lilacs…

Griffin tries out his brother’s new Star Wars Force Trainer. Yes, supposedly his brain waves make the ball move up and down in the tube. It’s pretty cool to watch, and Griffin makes the funniest faces while playing with it.

My favorite picture from our trip to the zoo. I love this ocelet. He (she?) just looks so soft and cuddly!

Earlier today Grant and I attended the Save the Fort Rally in Oswego. I took a ton of pictures (of course), and I’ll be posting several of them here later this evening. You’ll see this picture in that bunch. It’s my favorite of the day, because its message is so simple, direct, and truthful; Fort Ontario does matter, it is important, and we can’t let the state shut it down.
