I love fall at Beaver Lake! The colors are just amazing, and if you go around Halloween time you can see all of the carved pumpkins that they have set out for Enchanted Beaver Lake. I liked them so much that I brought the family back that evening to see the pumpkins in all their illuminated glory. 
But we’re getting a bit off track. Saturday morning I spent with one of my favorite families. Duncan and Quinn just keep doing that growing thing, and it amazes me every time I see them! I love Duncan with his shy smile, and Quinn with her strong opinions. I had a great time, even if it was a little bit colder than I would have liked. I can’t wait to see these guys again!

OMG, I seriously thought I had already posted this sneak peek! That tells you what kind of week it’s been!
I met up with this wonderful couple at Beaver Lake two weekends ago, on a gorgeous autumn day. The trees were just past the peak of their color display, but it was still quite lovely. We took a walk down the Bog Trail (my personal favorite) and I had a chance to catch up a bit with my high school English teacher. Mrs. B. got me through AP English with a pretty good grade – this was a miracle, considering how much I dislike writing. Let’s see, how many years ago was that now? Five? Ten? Yeah, something like that.
One of the first pictures of the day, and also one of my favorites. Reminds me of my hubby and me – he’s always making me laugh.
