Sweet Ashley | Syracuse Child Photographer
Posted on October 24, 2010
Yesterday I met up with Ashley and her family at Franklin Square in Syracuse. What a great location! We also walked part of the Onondaga Creekwalk, which was lovely. Ashley is a little spitfire, and though she is not quite two years old, she knows exactly what she wants! And more importantly, what she doesn’t want.
She didn’t want to smile much, or stay in one place for very long. We did manage to grab this quick shot of her in front of the fountain, though.

What did Ashley want to do? She wanted to snuggle with mom…

And chase squirrels…

And throw leaves in the creek. And yes, I almost had a heart attack several times when she got that close to the edge. ![]()

She wanted to CLIMB! Everything! Including some steps labeled “No Trespassing.” LOL

And she wanted to throw leaves! Especially on me!!

But mostly she wanted to run, run, run away! This is one of my new tutu dresses, by the way. Ashley was not a fan. ![]()

Thanks, Ashley! I had so much fun! Hope you have a fabulous second birthday!

These girls are growing up much too quickly! This is the third year that I have gotten to do a portrait session with them, and they are turning into such nice young ladies!

Big Family, Big Fun | CNY Family Photographer

Big families! I don’t do a lot of them, because they are such hard work. But they are also so much fun! We had five generations at this session. Amazing! We also did a bunch of smaller family groupings, like these…

But perhaps my favorite part of big family shoots is that with all of those people, and with all of those personalities, things can get pretty amusing. Take this shot, for example. It started as a simple shot of mom and her boys. Then someone shouted out that the guys should pick up mom, and we ended up here…

But then when it was dad’s turn with the guys, things got interesting… LOL

Thanks, everyone! I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone!
