This sneak peek is so overdue! I’m sorry it’s taken me this long to get it posted. I have had one heckuva week. Getting my boys back to school (Grant is in Junior High now!!), getting myself back to my school job, and then my husband’s car dying have taken up most of my time this week. I know some of you are patiently waiting for your galleries to go up, and I appreciate it. Hopefully I will get accustomed to my new schedule soon and things will improve. I am definitely NOT a morning person, so being at work by 7:30am is killing me right now. 
OK, enough of my whining. Meet Brittany, a senior at J-D. She is so sweet, and I had a great time at her portrait session last weekend. I was a little worried that we were going to get rained out, but the sun made an appearance just in time!

There are so many reasons that I love my job. I love to see the miracle of a newborn baby. I love to see a silly smile on a young child’s face. I love to see the connection between parent and child. And then, there are my seniors. Oh, how I love my seniors. They are a blast to work with, they are up for almost anything, and they never fail to make me laugh. I have such a great time with my seniors.
But I think this one takes the cake. I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard in a long time.
Devyn is a senior at North Rose-Wolcott this year, and even though it was miserably hot and humid for her portrait session last night, I still had more fun than should be allowed. We did the normal, pretty portraits of course (she reminds me a lot of Kathy Ireland, BTW). But Devyn also brought along her BFFs Quincey and Emily. Once the regular pictures were done, they headed to the lake. Right straight into the lake. As hot as it was, I considered joining them, but someone had to take the pictures. I did dip my feet in, though.
Then the fun began. There was much posing and laughing, and that progressed to a water fight, then my favorite – the perfect jumping shot. Such fun!
And, of course, there was a quiz…

Horses! I have been able to spend more time with horses this summer than the whole rest of my life combined. I love it! This is Emily, and she’s a total horse gal. Earlier this week I got to spend some time at Smoke Tree Farm with Emily and her horse, Cal. We had a great time wandering around the farm, and I even got Emily to climb up in the hay wagon (though I didn’t really have to twist her arm that much. )

Sweet Janae | Oswego Child And Family Photographer

Remember Janae? The last time I saw her she was a sweet little six-month-old. And now look how big she’s gotten! She’s over a year old now, and still just as sweet. I got to play with her at Breitbeck Park last weekend, and we had a lot of fun!
