Project 365 – Day 333

He did it!
At the beginning of the month, Grant stepped up to the challenge of writing a novel in just the thirty days of November. This is something that his dad has done for the past few years, and this year Grant decided to try out the junior division of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). In the adult division, writers try to complete 50,000 words in those thirty days. In the junior division the kids get to choose their own word count goal. Grant decided that 5,000 words would be a reasonable goal for him. It was definitely a challenge, especially with so much of his time taken up by homework and all of his activities. But today he finished it! I’m so proud of him!
If you would like to read all of Grant’s story, you can find it here. It’s actually quite funny.

Oh my word, I think your kid and my kids would get along like macaroni and cheese! I read that and could totally see my kids loving it. Especially the parts where the villian gets poned. Hilarious! I’m going to go back and read it with my boys later because they will love it!
Wow what an achievment!
