My mostest favoritest pic of Griffin ever, and I now have it on canvas in my living room!

Griffin lost another tooth!

JMP has a new phone number! Oh, the old number will still work, but thanks to Google Voice, this number will ring both my home and cell phones at the same time, so you’ve got a better chance of getting me on the first try.

The Marriner Museums and Monuments Tour 2009 :: Washington, D.C. :: The Jefferson Memorial

Posted on July 25, 2009

Next on our tour was the Jefferson Memorial. And since my collaborator on these posts, the guy responsible for the words, no longer has anything to say about these pictures ( :P ), I will instead introduce them with a quote from the National Park Service website:

“The words of Thomas Jefferson, some written more than 200 years ago, have shaped American ideals. Today, many of these impressive, stirring words adorn the interior walls of his memorial. The Thomas Jefferson Memorial stands as a symbol of liberty and endures as a site for reflection and inspiration for all citizens of the United States and the world.”

And of course there can’t be a post without pics of Grant and Griffin…

Project 365 – Day 206

This is the book that Grant is currently reading. Actually, he is currently RE-reading it. Let me pause a moment so that those of you who know Grant and know how much he dislikes the written word can digest this piece of information. Grant is voluntarily reading a book again.

Yeah, I didn’t believe it at first either. But he is my little math geek, and this is a really good book. If you haven’t read it yet you should give it a try – even if you think you don’t like math (the author is Hans Magnus Enzensberger).

Introducing Myles

Posted on July 24, 2009

This is Myles. He’s the one we were waiting for a couple of weeks ago. And now he’s here! He’s seven days old today, and he’s such a sweetie.

He has the cutest little mouth.

And he makes the funniest faces!

Best of all, he let us put him in my teacup! He wasn’t particularly thrilled with the situation, but he let us do it.

I don’t think this baby is loved at all. ;) Doesn’t Mathew just look like the proudest big brother ever?

And one of my favorite shots of the day – everyone’s feet! It looks like Myles is trying to tickle Makayla. :)

And here he is in his favorite place – snuggling up to Mom.
