Project 365 – Day 181

We are on vacation! On our way down to Philly we stopped at the Penn Can restaurant on 81 for some dinner. (Sorry for the poor quality – I only had my cell phone with me.)

I don’t know what he is doing here. Some sort of Transformers move while wearing his Transformers pajama top and his Transformers underwear. I think the boy might like Transformers.

Liz and Josh got married!

Posted on June 28, 2009

In August 2008 I photographed my last wedding, and then announced that I had “retired” from wedding photography so that I could focus on my portrait business. Little did I know that my friend Liz would go and get herself engaged. From the second I heard about the engagement, I knew what was coming. Yup, she asked me to come out of retirement to shoot her wedding. And I, being the ol’ softie that I am, agreed. The big event happened this past Friday evening and it was a blast! Here’s a sneak peek for the bride and groom…

(and yes, I was in a black & white mood today)

Detail of the fabulous dress…

What’s my favorite part of weddings? The kids! I love seeing the little ones all dressed up. Like this beautiful young lady…

…and this little sweetie!

These two were cracking me up, walking down the hall hand in hand.

And I wonder what the big secret is??

But now back to the bride and groom. Here they are smooching during the formal pics…

…and dancing their first dance.

There’s that Liz laugh we all know and love!

Liz and Josh had a fun “photo booth” set up at the reception. I got some really great pictures like these!

Congrats again Liz and Josh – I wish you every happiness in your marriage!

Nothing exciting going on here today, so here’s a little peek at a sign hanging up in my kitchen. And if you knew how often I actually cooked you would laugh.
