Back online!
Posted on April 30, 2009
Hooray!
Time Warner came out and finally fixed my internet connection today. I swear, that 24 hours without internet access felt like 24 years!!! I can live without the TV, but don’t touch my internet!!
I have responded to all of the emails that came in during my offline time. If you sent me an email and have not heard back from me, please email me or call me.
Now I have to go and catch up on all of the other things I missed online yesterday!
Project 365 – Day 120

These are my enemies. They used to be my friends, but as of 2:00pm yesterday, they became dead to me. And, just generally dead. On the left is the modem, which was the main source of the problem which kept me offline for 24 hours (never again!). I spent a total of about four hours on the phone with several different Time Warner tech support people. They finally sent someone out this afternoon, and he spent an additional hour and a half figuring it out. The modem is finally working. But its shelfmate, the router, is not. He is still dead to me. For now my computer is hard wired into the modem so that I can be online. But the wireless connections will have to wait for another day. Or a new router.

This weeping cherry tree is in our side yard, and it always looks so beautiful at this time of year. But the blossoms only last a few days and then they are gone. I wish they could stay the whole summer!

Guess who took a class trip to the fire station today!
Project 365 – Day 117

I bought these today at WalMart. The label said “Dark Chocolate Blueberry.” I didn’t pay too much attention to what was inside at the time, because I just assumed they were chocolate covered blueberries. Which would be cool. But it turns out they are just chocolate covered blueberry-ish flavored candy. Which is not all that cool.

Today we went shopping for new bedding for our room, and this is part of what we came home with. Very pretty and very cheap!!
Offline

We are currently without internet service at our house. I am still receiving emails through my Blackberry, but for the most part I will be offline until Time Warner can get this problem figured out. They are sending someone out Thursday afternoon, so hopefully I will be back online soon!
Jordan – Class of 2009

This is Jordan. She’s a senior at GRB.
Oh, and she’s beautiful.
And fun.
And she has a great smile.
Did I mention that she’s beautiful?
We met up this morning at Breitbeck Park in Oswego, which is one of my favorite locations for portraits. So many great little spots for pictures, even without the leaves on the trees yet. And we walked down the stairs to Wright’s Landing and did a bunch more there, and then ended up over at the river. I had so much fun, and went home with waaaaaaaay too many shots to sort through. It was painful to narrow it down to just these twelve for the sneak peek. Proofing the rest is going to take forever!
